For the curious…

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by Nov 1st, so we can have an accurate headcount and make sure everyone’s accommodations are taken care of.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, +1's and children are welcome. If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids are welcome at all wedding festivities. If you plan to bring children, please include them in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Will you have babysitters on the premises?

The Sublime Samana has babysitting services available for an extra fee. While we welcome children, we encourage parents to arrange babysitting for the latter part of the reception on Saturday so that you can continue to enjoy the festivities once it is bed time for the kiddos. Please reach out to them directly if you would like to coordinate these services.

What will the weather be like?

The weather will average 75-80 degrees during the day, and 70 - 75 at night.

How do I schedule transportation to/from Samana?

There will be shuttles available to/from SDQ airport and the Sublime Samana Hotel and Viva V hotel curtesy of the bride and groom. Once you have booked your flights, please share these with your hotel and they will coordinate a pick/up drop off for you.

Can I still get a shuttle ride if I arrive/depart on days other than the 16th/20th?

Yes, you will still be able to take advantage of our transportation options even if you choose to arrive early/late and/or depart early/late. Just be sure to let the hotel know so they can schedule for your transportation requirements appropriately.

Where should I park?

We encourage you to leverage the shuttle services we have coordinated to and from the airport. If you prefer to drive, you are welcome to park on the premises of the Sublime Samana or Viva V where they offer free parking.

What should I wear?

Casual beach vacation attire for the most part! No suit and tie or formal gowns required for the ceremony.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony and reception are outdoors. The ceremony will be outdoors on the beach with no covering. The reception will be outdoors and tented.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Shoes optional!

Ceremony = located on the beach in sand

Reception Dinner = located in the grass

Dance Floor = located on tiled floor

***Ladies*** we advise that you sway away from stiletto heels for the festivities. If you want to wear shoes, we recommend chunky heels or sandals.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app GuestPix.

However, we would appreciate if you could refrain from taking photos during the ceremony and leave those to the photographers/videographers.
